ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STUDY AND REVIEW PROCEDURE<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

The Des Cultures Wind Farm Project involves the construction of a wind farm comprising six wind turbines for a total installed capacity of 24 MW. The wind farm is located south of the St. Lawrence River and covers a portion of the territory of the Jardins-de-Napierville RCM, in the Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie administrative region. All project components (wind turbines, access roads, collector system and electrical substation) are located within the municipalities of Saint-R\u00e9mi and Saint-Michel.<\/p>\n

This notice is published to inform the public that the project\u2019s environmental impact study has been deemed to be admissible by the Minist\u00e8re de l\u2019Environnement et de la Lutte contre les changements <\/em>climatiques <\/em>(MELCC) and that the period for public information\u00a0 on\u00a0 the\u00a0 project\u00a0 will\u00a0 begin\u00a0 on June 18, 2019.<\/p>\n

Any person, group or municipality may send a written request to the Minister to hold a public consultation or mediation during the public information period, with respect to the project. The request must be made no later than July 18, 2019.<\/p>\n

The Bureau d\u2019audiences publiques sur l\u2019environnement <\/em>will hold a public information session:<\/p>\n

in the Neptune Room of the Saint-R\u00e9mi Community Centre 25, rue Saint-Sauveur, Saint-R\u00e9mi<\/strong><\/p>\n

**Please note that the session will be held in French but that questions can be answered in English.<\/p>\n

The project\u2019s environmental impact study, including a summary, and the other documents concerning the\u00a0 project\u00a0 are\u00a0 available\u00a0 for\u00a0 consultation\u00a0 in\u00a0 the\u00a0 public\u00a0 register\u00a0 of\u00a0 projects\u00a0 subject\u00a0 to the environmental impact study and review procedure at the following Internet address: www.ree.environnement.gouv.qc.ca.<\/a><\/u><\/em><\/p>\n
